This project is deployed in southern Australia. FogHashing has proposed a clean energy solution for Bitcoin mining due to the high electricity costs in the region. We recommend a flexible solar power generation system combined with the local power grid for the mining farm.

Additionally, considering the high temperatures and frequent sandstorms during the summer, the container has been equipped with protective measures to withstand the harsh local environment.

The immersion cooling and solar energy solution ensures that the mining machines can operate continuously and stably over a long lifespan.

1. Saving over 28% electricity costs with solar mining

To meet the site’s electricity demands, a 10MW solar photovoltaic system was constructed, integrating solar power into the local grid and flexibly utilizing all electricity resources according to local electricity pricing policies.

2. Adapted to withstand the harsh local environment

By using water cooling towers, special container protection, and key spare parts, ensuring the stable operation of mining machines in high-temperature environments and reducing the maintenance cost of the mining farm.

Filter nets are added to the container bodies, and walls are constructed around the site to cope with sandstorms. Core spare parts are provided at 2%-3% in advance to reduce waiting time for later maintenance.

3. Reducing operation and maintenance costs

The FogHashing remote management system enables real-time monitoring of mining machine operation data and is equipped with multi-functional alarm notifications.
